During your treatment, you may be recommended a skin biopsy to help diagnose a skin condition or remove abnormal tissue.

A skin biopsy is a procedure that involves removing a small sample of skin for examination under a microscope. It is a safe and effective way to diagnose a variety of skin conditions, including rashes, skin cancers, and other skin disorders. During your skin biopsy, your consultant will remove cells or skin samples from your body. The sample will be taken for laboratory examination.
