This service includes all Private Insurance and Self-Pay referrals with direct access into Cardiologist appointments and diagnostic tests, including ECG and Echocardiogram for patients experiencing:
- Palpitations
- Chest Pain
- Breathlessness
- Syncope (fainting or passing out)
- Abnormal ECG results
- Hypertension

The Cardiology Centre at KIMS Hospital
KIMS Hospital is home to the only private interventional cardiology facility in Kent, offering you the most comprehensive private cardiology service in the south-east.
Within our interventional cardiology suite is two Catheter Labs, which we use to perform minimally invasive procedures such as angioplasty (stent insertions) and ablation, as well as pacemaker implants, electrophysiology, and more.
What are unique in that we have a dedicated Cardiology unit with a dedicated Administration Team, Nurses, Physiologists, Radiographers and Cardiologists.
If you have been experiencing ongoing symptoms such as chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness or fainting spells, you can be referred to a Consultant Cardiologist at our interventional Cardiology facility.

Please be aware, if you are requesting a diagnostic scan such as an MRI, or CT, you must have a referral from a relevant clinician or Allied Health professional such as a physiotherapist.
