Does wax microsuction hurt?

Although it can be slightly uncomfortable, it is a safe pain-free treatment.

Will ear wax removal help tinnitus?

Ear wax removal can help reduce the blocked feeling in your ears, hearing loss, and ringing (tinnitus).

Is Wax Microsuction better than Irrigation?

Microsuction is considered safer and more effective than Irrigation as it avoids touching the ear canal and ear drum.

How long will my appointment take?

Your appointment will be anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes depending on the position and size of the wax.

Recommended aftercare post appointment

Avoid using cotton swabs and home remedies after your appointment. These can lead to further build up of wax and could cause an infection. Recommend to your ears dry for 5 days by using Vaseline soaked cotton wool or ear plugs during showers and swimming. Follow any advice given to you by your Doctor at your appointment. 

How to prepare for your wax removal? 

It is recommended to soften the wax prior to your appointment. You can do this by using 2 or 3 drops of olive oil everyday for 3 days before your appointment.

Can I take a shower after my procedure?

It is recommend to keep your ears dry for 5 days after your procedure. To shower or wash your hair use ear plugs or Vaseline soaked cotton wool to stop water from entering.
