You will meet a member of our team on the ward soon after admission or following your procedure. Our focus is early, safe support and practical guidance. We aim to make you feel well informed, motivated and well looked after.
Our aim is to make sure you are safe and independent with all your functional goals including bed transfers. mobility with/without aids, stairs and exercises. We will provide basic equipment based on your individual needs, this will be assessed with you on the ward prior to your discharge (more information on equipment can be found in the information leaflets on the link below). On discharge we will refer you to our highly experienced outpatient physiotherapy team to continue your recovery and rehab journey.
