At KIMS Hospital, we understand how important it is to find the right care for your child. Our young people services support families with children aged from 4 weeks up to 18 years, delivered with compassion and expertise.
Whether you are coming for a routine appointment or addressing a specific concern, our team will take the time to listen, explain everything clearly and treat your child with the care they deserve. We offer quick access, helping you get the support you need without long waits. Our service is thoughtfully built with both children and parents in mind, and with a consistent team, your child will see familiar, friendly faces at every visit.
Outpatient Paediatric Services
Our outpatient paediatric services are designed with children and teenagers in mind. We offer:
- Private GP: General consultations for children
- Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT): Wax microsuction, nasal cautery and nasendoscopy
- Audiology: General consultations and hearing tests
- Dermatology: Acne treatment, alopecia, cryotherapy for verruca and warts, eczema treatment, patch testing, psoriasis, mole checks and UVB therapy
- Consultations: Orthopaedics, Sports and Exercise Medicine, Podiatry, Urology, Rheumatology, Endocrinology, Neurology and Cardiology
- Physiotherapy: For children aged 6 and above
Imaging Services
When your child needs scans, our experienced imaging team is here to help:
- X-ray services for children aged 1 year and above
- CT and MRI scans for children aged 8 years and above (no sedation or contrast required)
- ECG
- Echocardiogram
- Cardiac MRI
- Holter monitors
- ETT (12 years+)
- Sleep studies (Must be over 30kg and 12 years+)
Phlebotomy
Blood tests carried out by experienced practitioners who understand how to put children at ease.

KIMS Hospital does not carry out any paediatric surgical procedures at this time and your consultant may be able to refer you to another hospital if required.

What age ranges we treat?
We treat from 4 weeks up to 18 years, however certain tests and treatments will have different age ranges. Please call us to get a specific breakdown.
Can I stay with my child during their appointment?
Yes, absolutely. We encourage parents or carers to stay with their child throughout their appointment whenever possible.
