What does a wisdom tooth extraction involve?

The operation can take anywhere from 10 minutes to around 60 minutes for more complex procedures and depends on how many teeth need to be removed. This will also help determine the level of anaesthetic you need.

Your Consultant will cut along the gum and divide the tooth with a drill. Once the tooth is removed, the gum will be stitched.

Following the procedure, you will be taken back to your room and should be able to return home on the same day. The medical team at KIMS Hospital will advise you of any precautions you should take, dependent on what anaesthetic or sedation you were given. They will also give guidance on how to keep the area around the gum clean and what foods you should eat to encourage healing.

What is the cost of private wisdom teeth extraction at KIMS Hospital?
