KIMS Hospital is proud to announce a new partnership with Medway Rugby Club, becoming the club’s official medical partner for the 2025/26 season.
This partnership brings together the region’s largest independent healthcare provider with one of the South East’s biggest community rugby clubs, ensuring players of all ages, from minis and juniors through to seniors, have access to expert medical support when they need it most. Services range from private GP appointments and health checks to diagnostic imaging, consultations and inpatient procedures, providing comprehensive care both on and off the pitch.
Founded in 1931, Medway Rugby Club has grown into a thriving community hub, offering opportunities for boys, girls, men and women to play, learn and enjoy the game. With rugby’s reputation as a physically demanding sport, the club recognises that access to quality medical care provides not only protection, but also peace of mind for players and their families.
“Community clubs like Medway Rugby Club are where values such as teamwork, respect and resilience are built,” said Emma Santer, Partnerships Manager at KIMS Hospital. “We are delighted to support the health and wellbeing of players at every level, and to be part of a club that welcomes the whole family.”
Tracy Bullock, Chair of Medway Rugby Club, added: “This partnership is about making sure every player, from the youngest child to the most experienced adult, feels cared for. Rugby is a sport for life, and thanks to KIMS Hospital, we can give our members and their families peace of mind both on and off the pitch.”
As part of the partnership, players will have access to fast diagnostic services and a wide range of healthcare support designed to keep them active and enjoying the game. Beyond the pitch, the collaboration also seeks to promote health and wellbeing across the wider Medway community, inspiring people of all ages to take part in sport and prioritise their health.
Together, KIMS Hospital and Medway Rugby Club are working to make rugby not just a game, but a safe, supportive and inclusive experience for everyone.
