Professional Profile
Mr Selway studied medicine and neuroanatomy in Cambridge before qualifying in 1989; he has been a Neurosurgeon since 2001. He undertook specialist training in Cambridge, Oxford, Birmingham and London where he completed a Fellowship in functional neurosurgery.
Mr Selway specialises in the neurosurgery of epilepsy and movement disorders in both adults and children and is an expert in degenerative spine disease.
Mr Selway is the lead for the Department of Neurosurgery at King’s College Hospital and is responsible for one of the major departments in the UK. His work centers on the use of multidisciplinary teams to ensure the right patient reaches the right clinician.
