Professional Profile
Mr Mark Norris is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in disorders of the adult Hip and Knee.
He qualified from Leicester University in 1996 but returned to his native Kent to continue his Orthopaedic training working in Hospitals of London and the South East. On completing his training he spent a year Fellowship at Guy’s Hospital learning techniques in lower limb arthroplasty, young adult hip pathology and joint sparing and soft tissue knee surgery.
He is widely published and has presented at international meetings on many aspects of knee surgery. Alongside his busy NHS practice at Darent Valley Hospitals he continues to work on research and training of junior surgeons. He is Chairman and Lead for Clinical Governance and Patient Safety at Queen Mary’s Hospital Sidcup as part of Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust elective services.
