Professional Profile

Mr Smith completed his undergraduate medical training in 2000 from St. George’s Hospital Medical School. His areas of special interest are hip and knee replacement surgery and arthroscopic surgery. He has a keen interest in enhanced recovery which aims to reduce the complication rate following surgery as well as leading to a shorter hospital stay.

Mr Smith completed his specialist orthopaedic training in the South East region and he has completed two surgical fellowships. One in Canada and another at Guy’s Hospital, London.

Professional memberships held by Mr Smith include: British Orthopaedic Association, Royal College of Surgeons and the Medical Defence Union.
