Professional Profile

Frank qualified from Leeds University (Gold Medal) in 1989. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College in 1994. After postgraduate training in Liverpool and Moorfields, he was appointed consultant at Maidstone Hospital in 2000. He provides a cataract surgery service and a tertiary referral service for retinal diseases and macular degeneration. He has been Principal Investigator in several national research trials and is member of the NICE Adoption & Impact panel and the National Institute of Health Research Coordinating Centre. He is a reviewer for several scientific journals and member of the committee of examiners of the Royal College.
