Professional Profile

Mr Okaro completed his basic postgraduate training in the North East Thames region.  He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 1997.  In 1998 he joined the Master of Surgery Degree Programme at the University of London and gained the MS degree in 2004.

Mr Okaro participated in a three month fellowship in the subject of surgical oncology at the national Cancer Centre in Tokyo, Japan.

He completed his higher specialist training in 2006 and subsequently gained his present role of Consultant Surgeon.

Mr Okaro has a keen interest in research and is widely published.
