Professional Profile

Dr Rathod graduated from Imperial College with multiple merits and then undertook cardiology training in the East of England. He was awarded a BHF fellowship and undertook a PhD in Long QT syndrome. He was a finalist at Young investigators’ competition at Heart Rhythm UK. Gained further training in New Zealand and then proceeded to undertake a further fellowship at world renowned Royal Melbourne Hospital.

He has procedural expertise in SVT, AF and VT ablation. Able to implant a full range of devices, including leadless pacemakers, and S-ICDs. Has an interest in inherited arrhythmias and arrhythmias in congenital heart disease.
