Professional Profile
Dr Vinay Bhatia is an experienced Consultant Cardiologist appointed at Maidstone & Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2009. He qualified from Guy’s & St Thomas’ Hospital, London (1994) and worked in research at Imperial College London, obtaining his PhD in Vascular Biology & Immunology.
He investigates and treat patients across a broad spectrum of acute and chronic cardiac diseases and conditions. He still finds his profession very rewarding, at times challenging but also motivating, even after so many years working in both the NHS and private sectors.
