Dr Vijayakumar has completed a cardio-thoracic fellowship at the Papworth Hospital in Cambridge. He is competent in reporting cardiac CT, MRI, thoracic CT, MRI and USG.
Dr Vijayakumar leads the cardio-thoracic and head and neck services at the Medway Hospital and chairs the MDM – lung cancer, ILD, neurology meeting.
He performs the following interventions, ultrasound – guided FNA’s, biopsies and drainage, CT guided lung biopsies and drainages.
