Professional Profile
Dr Praveen Bilagi completed his undergraduate studies from the University of Cambridge. After three years of surgical rotation he was awarded the MRCS degree. This was followed by six years of specialist radiology training at Kings College Hospital, London. He obtained the FRCR qualification in 2004 and CST in 2006.
He is the clinical lead at Medway Hospital where he holds the post of Consultant Cross-sectional Radiologist.
He is also the lead radiologist for musculoskeletal, uroradiology and hepato-biliary imaging.
Dr Bilagi’s areas of specialist interest are: musculoskeletal, uroradiology; hepato-biliary/ abdominal imaging; magnetic resonance imaging (MRI); CT and ultrasound.
Dr Bilagi is author of ‘Top-to-toe imaging’ in Clinical Opinions, KIMS GP magazine.
