Professional Profile
Dr Mayhead has over fourteen years’ experience working with a wide range of gastroenterology patients focusing on holistic, friendly patient-centred care, offering a proactive approach to managing GI and liver related conditions. He is happy to spend time working through a diagnostic problem to provide an explanation and management plan for the individual patient that gives an answer and peace of mind.
He is an accredited screener and examiner for the national Bowel Cancer Screening programme and he performs a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, with an interest in the treatment of obstructive jaundice, gallstone disease and advanced colonic polyp removal.
