Professional Profile
Dr Thom has been a consultant physician with a special interest in care of the elderly and stroke at Maidstone Hospital since 1995.
He has been Clinical Director and is currently Lead Physician. He has a long term interest in medical education, and has been Clinical Tutor for Maidstone Hospital for the past ten years.
His 32 years’ experience since qualification has seen him undertake roles across Southern England, as well as three years in Nigeria. His specialist registration is in general and geriatric medicine. His qualifications are: MB (Cambridge) 1981, MRCP(UK) 1985, FRCP (London) 1999, Certificate in Teaching 1998.
