Professional Profile
Dr Bijay Baburajan completed his undergraduate medical degree in 1992 followed by speciality training in London and Cambridge. A sub-specialist interest in the diagnosis and management of intestinal and pancreatic cancers was further developed at The Medical University of South Carolina, USA.
In this field, he provides a highly regarded referral practice for patients from Kent and Medway based at King’s College Hospital and The Maidstone Hospital. His original research into Personalised Medicine was awarded a Phd from The University of London, the results of which were subsequently patented by King’s Health Partners.
This work has been recognised by awards from the American Gastroenterological Association and The British Society of Gastroenterology. In addition to a number of advanced procedures and investigations, he provides a friendly and patient centred approach to the management of all intestinal and liver complaints.
