Who can book a self-referral MRI scan?
Our same day imaging service is available for adults aged 18 and over experiencing:
- Knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, ankle or foot problems (up to 2 joints per appointment)
- Chronic joint pain lasting more than six weeks
- Mild degenerative symptoms
Follow up letter provided within 48 hours with results and next steps.
Optional follow-up GP consultation: £50
Please note: This service is not suitable for acute injuries, suspected fractures, neurological symptoms, cancer or systemic conditions, spine or abdominal complaints, prior scans of the same joint, or any lumps.
