Professional Profile
Dr Gurung is the lead for Haematology Services at Medway Maritime Hospital and also holds an honorary consultant position at King’s College Hospital.
He has extensive experience in diagnosing and treating a wide range of blood conditions, including anaemia, blood cancers, white cell and platelet abnormalities, and clotting disorders.
Alongside his clinical work, Dr Gurung leads the haematology cancer service and is actively involved in training the next generation of doctors. He is committed to providing evidence-based, patient-centred care and works closely with colleagues in multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best possible outcomes for his patients.
