Professional Profile
Dr Vikram Sharma is a leading Consultant Hepatologist at the Royal London Hospital, part of Barts Health NHS Trust – one of the UK’s top teaching hospitals. He is the current Clinical Lead for Hepatology at the Trust and has held his consultant post for nearly a decade.
In addition to his NHS work, Dr Sharma has been practising privately across London and Kent for over 8 years, offering expert care in liver health and general gastroenterology.
Dr Sharma has contributed to a wide range of peer-reviewed publications and has presented at both national and international conferences. He has been actively involved in several multi-centre clinical trials, including their design and implementation. He is a member of the European Association for the Study of the Liver (EASL) and continues to contribute to advancing care standards in hepatology through clinical research and collaboration.
