Professional Profile
Mr Eddy is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with over 20 years Urological experience. He qualified from Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals in 1996 and trained in Urology in and around London. In 2008 he undertook an International Fellowship in robotic Surgery in Australia and was subsequently appointed to set up the Robotic Surgery programme in East Kent in 2010.
He is one of the UK’s most experienced Robotic Prostatectomy surgeons having performed over 1400 cases. He is a national trainer in robotic surgery and has set up an International fellowship training programme. He has presented and published his outcomes nationally and internationally. He also uses the most advanced techniques for prostate diagnostics with MRI and perineal biopsies.
Mr Eddy also has a large general Urology practice and sees patients for urinary symptoms, enlarged prostates, elevated PSA tests, Urinary infections, erectile dysfunction, bladder issues and scrotal and penile problems. He has been Cancer lead for East Kent and Prostate Cancer Lead for Kent and Medway. He is able to see patients at short notice and has no waiting times for surgery.
