Dr Madhusudhan Mali is a Consultant in Pain Management and Anaesthesia specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of spinal pain, from the neck to the lower back. He manages patients using a combination of medication and non-surgical injection therapies to help relieve and control chronic pain.
He graduated from Mysore Medical College, India, in 1997 and completed postgraduate training in Anaesthesia in Mumbai in 2000. Dr Mali later moved to the UK, where he undertook further specialist training in Anaesthetics and Pain Management in Birmingham and at Imperial College London.
Dr Mali has extensive NHS experience and was appointed Lead Consultant for the Chronic Pain Service at Darent Valley Hospital in 2010, where he has been involved in developing and expanding pain management services. His clinical interests include chronic conditions such as mechanical back pain, sciatica and neck pain, with a particular focus on minimally invasive procedures and advanced treatments such as radiofrequency therapy.
