KIMS Hospital’s seven year anniversaryBlog News 12th April 2021 Enquiries & appointments
In April 2014, KIMS Hospital opened its doors to patients for the very first time. Fast forward 7 years and the hospital is a well-established part of the local community, and has expanded its reach into West Kent with its acquisition of Sevenoaks Medical Centre.
This year, our 7th Anniversary is an opportunity to recognise the achievements, resilience and diversity of our dedicated team.
Simon James, CEO, says, “I’m proud to lead such a caring, dedicated and professional team here at KIMS Hospital and at our Medical Centre in Sevenoaks. All of us are committed to supporting the NHS and private patients in our local area. Our primary focus since opening has always been to provide safe, outstanding, quality healthcare for the people of Kent, without the need to travel into London.”
Since opening, our commitment to making KIMS Hospital a great place to work is as strong as ever. To see a snapshot, we asked three members of our team why they love working at KIMS Hospital;
Gillian Coomber, Chief Operating Officer (7 weeks with KIMS Hospital)
“It is fantastic to work with a great team of passionate staff who strive to provide the highest standards of care possible to everyone who uses our services.”
Jake Speed, Revenue & Credit Control Assistant (7 months with KIMS Hospital)
“I like working at KIMS Hospital as I have the freedom and opportunities to develop and learn skills in areas that I am looking to further my career in.”
Judith Kendall, Sales Advisor (7 years with KIMS Hospital)
“The team here are welcoming, friendly, professional and capable. I like that everyone is always thinking of how to improve and change for the better.”
Simon James concludes, “None of what we have achieved since opening back in April 2014 would have been possible were it not for the fantastic team we have at KIMS Hospital and Sevenoaks Medical Centre. By maintaining our shared values and our One Team approach, we will continue to deliver the very best patient-centred healthcare for the people of Kent.”
