This role is ideal for someone with previous experience as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Assistant or Support Worker.<\/p>\n<p><b>Role Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Monitoring patients&rsquo; conditions, including taking temperatures, pulse, respirations and weight prior to clinic appointments.<\/li>\n<li>Maintaining accurate and up-to-date patient care records<\/li>\n<li>Talking to patients to help reduce anxiety and provide reassurance<\/li>\n<li>Treating all patients with respect and dignity while maintaining privacy and confidentiality<\/li>\n<li>Supporting nursing staff within the Pre-assessment Clinic<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Person Specification<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A caring and compassionate attitude<\/li>\n<li>NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent)<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic with a genuine interest in caring for people<\/li>\n<li>Able to demonstrate high levels of mental resilience in a changing and often challenging environment<\/li>\n<li>Highly committed, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Benefits<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At KIMS Hospital we understand our people are our biggest asset and as such we are focused on ensuring they feel happy and valued both in and out of the workplace.
