Are you passionate about creating an excellent experience for patients, visitors and colleagues? <\/em>If so, we could have the perfect opportunity for you at KIMS Hospital<\/b>.<\/b><\/p>\n We are looking for an enthusiastic and hands-on Catering & Housekeeping Supervisor<\/b> to join our Guest Services team. This is a key role in ensuring our patients and visitors receive consistently high standards of cleanliness, catering and customer service throughout their time at KIMS.<\/p>\n You will support the Guest Services Lead in the day-to-day running of the Catering and Housekeeping departments, ensuring the team is appropriately staffed, trained and equipped to deliver an exceptional service. You will be a visible and supportive supervisor, leading by example and ensuring our standards are maintained across the hospital.<\/p>\n What will you be responsible for?<\/b><\/p>\n Supervising and supporting the Catering and Housekeeping teams, including daily briefings, allocating work, managing rotas and ensuring staff have the training and resources required to deliver their roles effectively.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, hygiene and catering, carrying out regular inspections, monitoring cleaning and temperature schedules and taking corrective action where required.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Delivering an outstanding patient and visitor experience, ensuring food and drinks are prepared and served to the required standards and patient dietary requirements are met.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Supporting quality, safety and compliance, including infection prevention and control, Health & Safety, COSHH, manual handling, food safety and hospital policies and procedures.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Responding confidently to day-to-day challenges, resolving issues within the team, responding to requests and concerns, managing complaints appropriately and escalating matters when necessary.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n What are we looking for?<\/b><\/p>\n We are looking for someone who is patient-focused, enthusiastic and committed to delivering high standards<\/b>. You will be comfortable working in a busy environment, able to motivate and support a team, and confident in taking ownership when challenges arise.<\/p>\n Essential criteria:<\/b><\/p>\n Previous supervisory experience within Housekeeping and\/or Catering.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Excellent verbal communication and customer care skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n A flexible, enthusiastic and reliable approach, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Desirable criteria:<\/b><\/p>\n Previous supervisory experience within a similar healthcare, hospitality or service environment.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n Training or qualifications in areas such as Food Safety Level 3, COSHH, Health & Safety or Manual Handling.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n Why work at KIMS?<\/b><\/p>\n At KIMS, our people are our biggest asset.
