Are you ready to advance your career in healthcare?<\/p>\n<p>As a Theatre Support Worker, you&rsquo;ll play an essential role in preparing operating theatres, ensuring the theatre and recovery areas are maintained to the highest standards, escorting and assisting patients, and ensuring accurate record-keeping. Every day, you&rsquo;ll have the opportunity to improve the patient experience and contribute to their recovery.<\/p>\n<p>You&#39;ll work 4 days per week (Monday to Saturday, 07:30 &ndash; 18:00), with 1 Saturday per month, offering a great work-life balance.<\/p>\n<p>See what our staff have to say about working in theatres.<\/p>\n<p>Join the Theatres team at KIMS Hospital and take your career to new heights while making a real difference in patient care!<\/p>\n<p><b>What You&#39;ll Be Doing:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>As a Theatre Support Worker, your key responsibilities will include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>Preparing and cleaning theatre and recovery areas before and after surgeries, ensuring adherence to cleaning schedules.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Stocking and maintaining stock levels in cupboards and containers.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Assisting with patient collection and escorting, as well as helping transfer patients from trolleys to tables under supervision.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Supporting the safe positioning of patients on the operating table.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Acting as the circulating person for the scrub team, within your scope of responsibilities.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who We&rsquo;re Looking For:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>If you have experience in Operating Theatres or Decontamination Units, and a natural ability to connect with patients, we would love to hear from you. This is your chance to shape your career while making a meaningful difference!<\/p>\n<p><b>Essential:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>A good standard of general education including English and Maths GCSE grade 4 and above (or equivalent).<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Previous experience working in Operating Theatres or a Decontamination Unit.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Desirable:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p>NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or Care Certificate.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p>Experience as a Theatre Support Worker.<\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>About KIMS Hospital:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>At KIMS Hospital, we value our people above all else.
