World Heart Day is celebrated every year on 29th September. It is a global campaign set up by the World Heart Federation to inform and educate people about the risk of cardiovascular disease (CVD) and what people can do to prevent and control it.
At KIMS Hospital we want to support the event and you, by giving you access to a panel of expert cardiologists and lead cardiac nurse who can help answer any questions you might have about the symptoms, prevention and treatment of CVD.
You can ask questions on the night via the chat function during the virtual event but we would also encourage you to submit your questions in advance.
We look forward to joining you on what will be a really informative Live Q&A!

Our live Q&A sessions are an opportunity for you to ask the clinicians questions about your symptoms, and about prevention and treatment of cardiovascular disease. The consultants listed work for KIMS Hospital under practising privileges, which is the ‘license’ agreed between independent medical professionals and a private healthcare provider. Under these privileges, they are committed to work within the governance framework of our hospital, and to our hospital values.
Please be aware that the answers and advice given are without physical examination, and do not replace the need for a consultation. If your symptoms are urgent then please do not hesitate to contact your GP, and in the event of an emergency please call 999.
